May you stay warm in your hearts and get a chance to travel to sunnier climes this winter! Send me your address (blawsm@comcast.net) please. I have a little something fun:) Blossom
Hey, that's what we will be doing this weekend! Loved your camping post. Having spotty internet connections so couldn't leave a comment yesterday. Have fun camping.xx PS- it was always special when my children drank coffee too. Don't know why they think it's such a big deal, but they do! Makes me laugh.
Some good signs of change. I hope we have a Fall that requires storing summer dresses, and having some firewood on hand! http://www.chickenblog.com/2011/09/this-moment_08.html
Your images say it all for what's approaching. Funny how when the fog and rain and snow of winter hit, the color goes away. All that beige of firewood and grey of puddles and brown of mud. Makes me appreciate the vibrant colors of summer and the brilliant colors of fall.
Glad you popped by my blog because I found yours! Love the idea of photographing "red". We don't grow apples in Louisiana but we do grow wonderful strawberries, however, our harvest of strawberries ended in June! Very Pretty pic!
Our moment is up and comes from our trip to the farm to get our weekly CSA and flower share. Our weekly flower share lead to some fun with math (sorting, counting, etc)! http://ouronesweetfamily.blogspot.com/2011/09/this-moment_09.html
Yay for fall and yay for red!!! And I think we have the same bird book as the one on your wall... the artistry I think is the same! Have a great weekend Ivey! xx oo
That is a lot of wood. How long did they work at moving that pile? How long will it last? Here's to enjoying wonderful fires in the fireplace.

Good things, all! Summer dresses are wonderful, but come in second to fall sweaters.
