I love My People!

This blog started out as a place for me to keep my far away family updated on our ‘doings’ around here. It has morphed into more and I’m not sure my family even checks in that often, but for today, this one is for you guys. Mom, Dad, Nan, Ben, Haile, Greg, Reid, Ethan, Parker, William.....WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!! We wish we were closer this morning. To scream and holler and exclaim and hug and THANK and play and wrestle and eat and all that good stuff.

Mom. Della said that you’re better than Santa. You too, Aunt Haile! At the last moment, long after Santa was done and certainly after Fed-ex was tucked in, Della announced that she HAD TO HAVE ski’s and boots for the American Girl that she hoped to be getting. It was at the top of the list. Miss D laid an egg when she opened your boxes, Aunt Haile. You could probably hear her screaming in South Georgia. Thank you for being clairvoyant. The boys adored their generous and beautiful cards...big time!

Dad and Mom. You sure can put together a package. We love ALL the clothes. Check out the fit....perfect. I don’t even know where to start with the R. Wood bowl!!!! Oooo la la! We will now be more presentable in public. Durango thanks you!

Nan. Your goodies are just fabulous and always so fresh and different!!! You keep us hip. We love it all! I can’t wait to read the book! Perfect!
