my fabulous sister, nan, was featured in garden and gun magazine, she planned a very swish wedding. go here to check it out!
quote from the peanut gallery (matt)
"you take photos that make our house look neat and tidy. sometimes it takes me a minute to figure out where it is in the actual house."

Lilacs are among my favorites. They remind me of my home growing up in Michigan. Love the comment about the home - it made me giggle. Great job for your sister.
ReplyDeleteIt will be sad when the lilacs are done. I am trying to enjoy them while they are here. I love the wall hanging? picture? to the left! So colorful. congrats to your sis! Well done.
ReplyDeleteOk, you can count me in. Started checking your blog from my wife’s (the Domestic Doozie’s) suggested reading list - keep checking because of the hilarity and wit that ensue.
ReplyDeletehello ranger! i love you and we've never even met! you and ron win because you are clearly awesome men! (and you both have excellent taste in women) there are others out there that read, but maybe it takes a military background to produce the bravery to comment on a mommy blog! :) i think i have your address, will let ko know if i need it!
Deletethank you, my dear!
We get Garden & Guns magazine here! How wonderful for your sister, congratulations.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a lovely week too Ivey!

ReplyDeleteI think there are zero lilacs in our area!!! Gasp! I had completely forgot about them until I saw your pictures. So beautiful! Have an incredible week. I had a crazy dream last night that I flew my kids out to your summer camp :)
ReplyDeleteWe simply must grow lilacs in our yard, even if Virginia is not their favorite.
ReplyDeleteLilacs smell so sweet in the Spring!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful lilacs. I love the comment from your son---my husband says the same thing about me!
ReplyDeleteHere on the front range our lilacs have just expired. But today brings the first real rain of the season. Wet, green goodness it is.
ReplyDeleteI'm freaking out over all the lilacs. (they don't last long in water though, do they?)
ReplyDeleteOK, I'm a closet follower. I patiently wait for my wonderful wife (Denise) to tell me "I have to" read your blog and then dutifully do so. When she doesn't, I look anyway but don't let her know I've done so.
ReplyDeleteRon
