The visit was perfect.
The kids call my mom Kitty.
We ate every meal plus some, ran around town shopping and sightseeing, went to several parties, saw the final bows of fall and soaked in the love of family. The kids adored every minute of it and all of the 'one on one' attention.
We abstained from any taxidermy...Cordelia was worried that I might start in on the darling bunny in the previous post....but Mom probably thinks that we are obsessed with apples.
We had a late birthday/send off party on her last night with us.

We sent her home with antlers, rocks, lots of Della art and a bag stuffed full of Colorado love.
Thank you Mom {Kitty}!
We love you!!!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful visit! The kids look absolutely delighted to be with her :) You can see the joy sparks in those smiling eyes! And I'm loving that first picture. Wow an entire story could be written about it, the game, the gorgeous produce, the crisp bright light! Love it!
ReplyDeleteOhh ohhh I want to know more! Did your mom let the kids win games or did she? Our 5 yr. old grandson hates when I win ;) Did the kids shock her with anything? My guys can't stop rearranging their private parts at the moment-lol. So glad it was such a sweet time--Beautiful!
