Much of the holiday break was spent skiing. The boys ski with a posse. They meet their friends and run wild all day on the mountain. At the end of the day they are wide eyed with tales of extreme adventure and they're starving. I feed 'em, get 'em loaded up and....
....a hush falls over the crowd.
And now we are back in the saddle.
Big things are in store for 2013.
Hope you are all well!
Love these pictures!!! Good days they had, good days :)
ReplyDeleteWishing you a lovely week ahead.
Sounds like fun!
ReplyDeleteI must get there one day so you can teach me to snow ski. I water ski
and wonder if it's really so different, except the laundry is a lot
smaller;)
you nailed it with the laundry! that had never occurred to me! the gear is overwhelming. it takes more energy to just FIND everything we need for the day than to actually ski!!! paying for it is another story!!! i'm exhausted just writing about it! :) get your self here and i will learn you!!
DeleteSleeping boys....nothing better :) I can remember that feeling of complete exhaustion after a day of skiing. There's nothing like that. Cheers to a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteGlad your holidays were filled with fun things....
ReplyDeleteAh, those were the days. Spent many a day just like that at Eldora. We're gearing up (literally) to take the kid out this year.
ReplyDeleteYep,it's been going around here too - skiing & snoozing! Hope you had a great holiday and that you all are well.

ReplyDeleteI love BIG THINGS.
XO
Can't wait to see what big things are in store for your new year! We are starting off this new year with big things too...new baby, new job, new island...but I've lowered my expectations to simply "surviving" for these first couple months. So I'm happy to live vicariously through you and see what you guys are up to! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteYour pics brought back great memories--the fun, the exhaustion and how much everyone ate when they got home!
