Shrimping season is in full swing so I have been preparing shrimp and grits weekly here. Want a grits tip? Once the grits are cooked,and they must cook at least 20 minutes, add a can of evaporated milk and cook a little longer. Add roasted garlic and grated chedder chesse along with fresh cracked pepper. I LOVE grits. There I said it. I grew up in Ohio for part of my youth and there my love for grits began. Shrimp and grits? Never had it but it sounds perfect!! Thanks Ivey! Tracey's sounds interesting too! And REM, wow, night swimming was one of their best I think ;). xoxo
