1. My friend Jennifer taught me how to silkscreen. It is SO fun. The kids did the tie dye and then I silkscreened. Addictive, possibly.
2. This is Della and snake #242. We're going to have to start eating them. Actually, I have been investigating the fine art of taxidermy with my friend Jill.
Just you wait.
So far, we've only invented a cocktail inspired by our inspiration. Would you care for a 'roadkill'?
Of course you would. But you're going to have to wait till we have a critter centerpiece to serve it with. I am from the south, remember. And we require a 'centerpiece' when entertaining. Flowers are so yesterday. Jill and I are thinking of some very poised squirrels.
3. Fresh bread and home made butter. Made by the kids and devoured by the kids.
4. Your monogram in nautical signal flags?
For the yacht, you know. Or the woodshed. It's all in your attitude.
And is folk art cool or should we start a folk art school? We're trying to figure that out, too!
May your weekend be filled with snakes, squirrels, yachts, and art.
I think we're going camping again.
xoxoxo
